Laura is a EC Senior Judge (Hunter, Jumper, Hack and Equitation), EC Steward (Hunter, Jumper), USEF “R” (Hunter, Jumper, Equitation) and also officiates as Stadium Judge at Horse Trials and Events. Laura has judged in Canada and US and regularly officiates at all levels of shows from training shows, one day regional shows as well as top rated national and international competitions.
Laura has been using essential oils for approximately 3 years and hosts regular workshops, webinars and chats specializing in pets and specifically horses.
She is a certified Animal Aromatherapist as well as a Certified Equine Massage Therapist using essential oils as an important part of the massage process.
She is a published author and her books are regularly in the Top 10 in the Amazon.com Kindle store in the Horse category.

Mark this day on your calendar! Equine Canada encourages all Canadians to understand the importance of horses in history and today’s society so sets the first Saturday in June aside to celebrate. Spruce Ridge will be hosting a fun filled and educational day so come on out. There will be a Parade of Breeds highlighting the different breeds of horses and colours and markings, riding demonstrations of all levels and ages and an opportunity to meet the mini ponies! Spruce Ridge is pleased to offer the Recreational (Enhanced) Program. Riders in the Recreational Program are getting very skilled however many of them still do not wish to compete. The Recreational (Enhanced) Program has been designed to continue to all0w these riders to be challenged!
And for your children’s safety, instructors at Spruce Ridge hold current certifications and first aid. We standards of safety and professionalism to a high level!
PREPARE FOR THE ENGLISH RIDER LEVEL 7 AND/OR 8
Spruce Ridge has 2 openings for Riders wishing to prepare for their Rider 7 and/or 8. The exam will be held at Spruce Ridge in June or July. Riders must be able to commit to a weekly lesson program on Tuesday evening as well as the Rider level specific training two Saturdays per month. There are some lesson horses available however for use. Call now and get started!

Spruce Ridge is a small, professional stable of 17 stalls, an indoor arena measuring 70 feet by 150 feet and a large outdoor sand ring. There is both group and individual turnout including several grass turnout areas.
Spruce Ridge is an accredited member of the Horse Facilities Council. This is an organization that inspects riding establishments to ensure that the stable has reached an approved level for safety standards in the facility and instruction, including first aid training and appropriate training or experience. The inspections also verify appropriate levels of liability insurance, care and training for horses and plans to ensure that standards are maintained.
